LOW PROFILE Low profile means that the split full foundation is only 4 inches thick instead of nine inches thick. This is useful in situations where the mattress is very thick and a less tall foundation would be helpful. This is a special order and takes us about three weeks to have it manufactured.
Our split full foundation set LOW PROFILE is used when the size of a standard box spring is too large to fit up the stairs or into your bedroom. Basically, a full foundation is made into two separate foundations to make a full size foundation that should easily fit virtually anywhere. The split full foundation is also much stronger than a normal foundation because it has two middle rails.
